Our Business

The building of Fort Saphrey commenced a few years ago, and was finalized during the summer of 2005.  Initially, Fort Saphrey was simply a concept, which took the shape of a hotel during the retirement year of Captain Olin Saphrey.  It was the ideas of  his mother that closed the gap on "Should we" and opened the possibility, making the determination to construct a family business.

Who We Are

Fort Saphrey is a small hotel and restaurnat, but large at heart.  It will meet your everyday need and will tip your fancy.  It is secluded between a bed of tropical fruit-trees and a staff with lots of smiles...100 feet away, is the beach with water that is always between 68 and 73 degrees. During the evening hour, you may sit on the beach and catch a glimse of the sun fading in the West...It is an unimaginable sight!
